As a guide, Axess 2 offer the following lift types:
Platform Lifts
'Platform lifts' is a term that covers several different types of lifting systems, including step lifts, incline lifts and pitless lifts. Platform lifts consist of a platform that rises and falls using hydraulics or traction systems. They're much quicker and easier to use than a traditional stair or chair lifts.
Disabled Lifts
Disabled lifts are otherwise known as platform wheelchair lifts, platform lifts, through-the-floor lifts or home lifts. They all provide wheelchair and disabled access inside homes and offices. Many have been introduced into offices to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act. Modern designs blend in with any décor.
Home Lifts
Home lifts – for the elderly or those with a disability, they can be a necessity. For others, they're simply a luxury purchase. Whatever the reason, they provide convenience and style. Choose a lift company that works closely with you and with architects and specifiers to get the right solution.
Passenger Lifts
Passenger lifts these days often combine all the benefits of hydraulic lifts, without the need for a machine room. The power units and controller are often compact, too, making installation, maintenance and emergency rescue easier. Some lift companies offer state-of-the-art inverters that mean great ride quality.
Goods Lifts
Goods lifts are needed if your goods are too heavy-duty for a small service lift. They often have a capacity of up to 1500kg, which is perfect for moving heavy, bulky loads or those that have to be accompanied. These lifts are ideal for hotels, bars, warehouses and large restaurants.
Bespoke Lifts
Bespoke lifts can be used where there's little headroom or no pit. Or just because they look great. The key point is for the installer to communicate with the client to understand budget or architectural limitations. With a variety of colours, sizes and finishes, your lift will be an asset.
