Discreet and Innovative Step Lift Solution

The HDN can be easily and elegantly integrated into any building style, designed to be discreetly included and camouflaged according to its surroundings. When not in use the lift neatly retracts below the floor to give the appearance of having no lift at all!

The room needs not to be adapted to the lift but the other way around. The HDN lift represents clever and modern thinking within the industry combining in one stroke design, function and elegance. Built into the floor it makes things easier for both wheelchair users and walking-impaired persons in places with small level differences – 1 or 2 steps in eg. shop entrances and hotel lobbies.

Specification

As the lift is camouflaged in the floor you only have to think of the top flooring on the lifting platform: carpet, vinyl, mats and wood or even granite, marble, paving stone, flagstone and floor plates.

The design may be simple but it conceals a robust system with a high lifting capacity. The HDN features a registered lifting principle which ensures the wheelchair remains level and stable. A safety skirt is fitted around the lift which prevents a wheelchair from rolling off while the lift is in operation. The user is protected from any squeezing risk.

  • Elegant and user-friendly design
  • Option of optical adjustment to surroundings
  • Robust and very strong design despite the lifts simplicity
  • Simple and easy operation for all
  • Completely closed and injury-risk-free system
  • A stable, registered lifting principle
  • Safety skirt around the entire lift prevents wheelchairs from rolling off
  • Extremely silent during operation
  • Can be installed both indoor and outdoor

Models

Below, you find the technical overview of our different standard HDN models available. The hidden platform lift is for the small level differences – up to 500 mm. All models are available in 3 standard platform widths: 900 x 1400 mm, 1000 x 1400 mm and 1100 x 1400 mm.

900 x 1400mm

This is the smallest of the 3 platforms. This platform is suitable in places with limited space available an no need for the wheelchair to change direction on the platform.

The 100 mm safety panels all around the lifting platform rise first, afterwards follows the platform which travels safely and smoothly up to the upper level. The safety panels are a substantial part of the construction and the choice of model/pit drawing.

  • Pit short side 935 mm
  • Lifting capacity 400 kg / 2 pers
  • Lifting speed 20 mm / s
  • Weight 110 kg
  • Noise< 70 db
  • Lifting height 0-500 mm
  • Pit depth 350 mm
  • Pit long side 1430 mm
  • Duty cycle 2 min. / 18 min.

1000 x 1400mm

This is the middle size of platforms. This platform requires a little more space but it also provides better possibility to maneuvering the wheelchair on the platform.

The only difference between the 3 HDN models is the size of the lifting platform but due to the configuration of the lifting platform (the optimum individualisation of the safety panels) 2 factors are important when choosing the right submodel: lifting height and whether the user need to exit the platform at the SHORT or the LONG side of the platform at the top level.

  • Pit short side 1035 mm
  • Lifting capacity 400 kg / 2 pers
  • Lifting speed 20 mm / s
  • Weight 110 kg
  • Noise< 70 db
  • Lifting height 0-500 mm
  • Pit depth 350 mm
  • Pit long side 1430 mm
  • Duty cycle 2 min. / 18 min.

1100 x 1400mm

This is the widest of the 3 HDN models, thus it goes without saying that here’s enough space for a big wheelchair to turn around.

Cover the platform with the flooring as on the surrounding the floor – and nobody sees the HDN when it is down. At public places it could be convenient to draw the attention to the lifting platform – Liftup supplies a special designed carpet with wheelchair symbol.

  • Pit short side 1135 mm
  • Lifting capacity 400 kg / 2 pers
  • Lifting speed 20 mm / s
  • Weight 110 kg
  • Noise< 70 db
  • Lifting height 0-500 mm
  • Pit depth 350 mm
  • Pit long side 1430 mm
  • Duty cycle 2 min. / 18 min.
