Accessibility Made Easy With A Home Lift!

With accessibility for people with disabilities becoming an even more important topic over the years, here at Axess 2 we are excited to be involved with being able to give people who suffer with mobility issues and health concerns the freedom of their home in some pretty unique ways.

Our home lifts are an excellent addition to any home, regardless of your budget!

So why would you want a great “big” lift in your home? Let’s take a look!

They Don’t Have To Be Big!

The beauty of home lifts is that they can be built and installed to your specific requirements. If you need your elevator to fit more than one person in, that can be arranged. If you are living alone and don’t need much room in your elevator, consider it done!

By having a survey done prior to investing in a home lift, you can tell your expert exactly what you need, and they can advise you on what is best for your building!

They Don’t Take Long to Install!

One common misconception that is associated with home lifts is that they take a really long time to install.

The installation takes roughly 3 to 5 days depending on the circumstances, which isn’t much longer than having a stair lift installed!

There Are Many Different Styles!

If you are worrying about making your home lift fit in with your room, don’t worry! There are many different styles and finished that can be incorporated to allow you to keep your room matching!

They Are Safe!

Another misconception is that once you are stuck in a lift, that’s it. We’ve all seen the movies where people are stuck in lifts for days on end.

Thankfully, this isn’t the case. Having a home lift is perfectly safe; in some situations even more so than a stair lift, especially if you are having to try and transfer yourself from a wheelchair onto a stair lift seat, then back onto a wheelchair at the top of the stairs. They can also have alarms installed so if you did happen to get stuck, help will be on it’s way immediately!

With a home lift you can seamlessly travel to an upper floor of your house without having to leave the safety of your wheelchair!

It also minimises any falls and eliminates any chance of you slipping off a seat or tripping down the stairs! Plus, who doesn’t want to travel in style?

Here at Axess 2, we are proud to be able to give back a little bit of freedom to people who may not have felt like they could navigate their own homes safely. We have a wide range of lifts to suit a whole host of needs and specifications. Our bespoke design service enables you to get the lift that suits your needs!
