Twin Passenger Lift Installation, Angry Birds Adventure Golf Centre
Introducing the duplex 1000kg low pit passenger lifts installed in the UK’s first Angry Birds Adventure Golf Centre, located in Gateshead UK.
The two through entry Eco 2i Traction MRL passenger lifts were installed by Axess 2 Ltd in bespoke steel and glass structures, with integrated graphics to complete the Angry Birds theme. The lifts where a mirror image of each other with the guide rails installed in a back to back configuration in the steel structures. The lifts are to transport passengers from the entrance and hospitality area down to the golf play zone. Due to site restrictions, the lifts have been installed to EN81-21 with a low pit dimension of only 575mm. Each lift features a panoramic glass and stainless steel 1100 x 2100 cabin and can carry a maximum 13 passengers. A reclaimed timber floor was installed to match the clients existing flooring outside of the lifts. Glass panoramic doors also feature on the lift providing the passengers with an uninterrupted view of the golf course as you transcend down to the lower level.
