Goods/Service Lift Installation, McDonald's Branch - Bond St
Axess 2 were approached by AEW Architects in June this year to see if we could offer a goods lift solution for a new Mcdonald’s branch. The restaurant was to be located on Bond St, part of the Pinnacle building. Due to space restrictions and the configuration, a standard ‘off the shelf’ lift was not suitable. The lift was to transport goods between the basement storage facility and the ground floor food preparation area.
A solution was agreed and approved and the lift was sent into manufacture. The final lift specification included a through entry configuration, a 1100 x 1100 platform, a robust aluminium floor, with edge protection and call and send buttons from both the basement and ground floor.
