Extremely compact home lift in Bristol

The extremely compact home lift in Bristol not only enhanced the client’s home but provided that much need assisted access to the five floors of this property. Travelling over 12m, and with an overall foot print size of 840 x 890, this was one of the smallest lifts Axess 2 have installed. An aluminium structure was first fitted in the period property, complete with glazing on the left and right facade to allow light to flood the cabin, making what would ordinarily have been quite an enclosed space feel bright and airy.

The guide rails were mounted at the rear of the lift creating a clean sleek uninterrupted view through the lift structure. The client chose a natural anodised aluminium finish for the landing doors and lift shaft, complimented with a contrasting mirrored cabin control panel.
