Lift Mate / Improver – London Area

We are offering an excellent opportunity for an engineer’s mate for our busy installation team, this position is open for someone keen to learn and progress, and work as part of a 2man team on the new installation of Lifts.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the installation of Lifts
  • Support the Experienced Lift Engineer
  • Demonstrate the willingness to learn, whilst on site and towards an NVQ.
  • Understand installation manuals and engineering drawing information.
  • Assist with maintenance visits and make repairs

IDEALLY:

  • Have a valid CSCS Card
  • Full clean driving Licence
  • Ability to work at heights
  • Good verbal and written communication skill
  • Adherence to health and safety legislation
  • Experience of working in construction
  • Hands on technical aptitude

Lift Field Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Lift Field Engineer, to cover service, callouts and minor repair work of various types of lifts within the southern region. You will have previous experience within this field, and will be able to demonstrate your abilities to the highest professional standard.

In your current role, you will be over-achieving in every aspect of your day to day duties, working under your own initiative and thinking outside the box, you are experienced & effective in tracing faults & reading wiring schematics

The ideal candidate

  • 5 or more years’ total experience working in the lift industry
  • Lift service experience in your current role, or a recent position
  • Highly skilled in a wide range of lift equipment from various manufacturers
  • Experience working as a field service and call out engineer within the last 5 years
  • Current industry recognised training listed on your CV (NVQ 3, J MODULES or Equivalent, CSCS)
  • Manufacturers product training certificates listed on your CV
  • Lengths of tenure in previous positions greater than 3 years
  • Customer focused and confident in your skills and be a confident communicator

Essential Requirements

  • Relevant experience working as a lift field engineer such that you could hit the ground running and not require any additional training to start,
  • Experience in working as a lift engineer, and have experience working as a service and call out engineer within the last 3 years
  • Valid UK driving licence

The position requires you to be DBS checked

Lift Installation Engineer

We are currently recruiting an experienced Lift Installation Engineer, for various lift types within the Midlands & Southern region. You will have proven previous experience within this field, and will be able to demonstrate your abilities to the highest professional standard.

In your current role, you will be over-achieving in every aspect of your day to day duties, working under your own initiative and thinking outside the box, you are experienced & effective in tracing faults &reading wiring schematics
