Pitless Lifts

Here at Axess 2 Ltd we supply a range of lift products which fall into the low pit or pitless category under the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC and the new EN81-41.

Our lifts can be specified with a pit as low as 100mm, alternatively combine this with a ramped access  point and the lift becomes totally pitless. The majority of our platform lift solutions, including both the hydraulic and traction driven systems can be supplied with a low pit or pit less.

Due to building regulations and site conditions, the pitless lift option is becoming increasingly my popular in many construction sectors. Retail shopping centres favour the low pit lift over a traditional lift because of the ease of installation and integration into their building. A large number of Axess 2 lifts have been installed in various shopping centres across the country including the Manchester Trafford Centre and Liverpool One.

Combine the low pit with a low headroom and you find yourself with a lift suitable for most client requirements.
