The Challenge

We were recommended by one of our previous clients to the principle architect in charge of the renovation project at Earby Surgery. The requirement was for a platform lift to travel a height of 1.8m, we were asked what type of lift could be installed on this project.

The Solution

BS 6440 says that a platform lift does not need to be enclosed for travel under 2.0m however Axess 2 recommended because of the nature of the building and the high occupancy rate, that our A5 enclosed screw lift, manufactured by Cibes Lift in Sweden, was the perfect safe solution.

The Outcome

The Axess 2 A5 lift was installed successfully in September 2008, and the client has now extended there warranty term to 5 years with our after sales team, to enjoy trouble free operation of one of our high class products.
